The two-day Corporate Leaders’ Workshop was convened in July to review corporate strategies in the light of the recent crisis in financial markets. Among those taking part in the workshop have been Dr J J Irani, Board Member, Tata Sons, India; Ambassador Luzius Wasescha, Board Member, State Secretariat for Economy, Switzerland; Dr Jean-Pierre Méan, Group General Counsel, SGS Ltd, Geneva, and Toru Hashimoto, Chairman of Deutsche Securities Ltd, Japan. The senior corporate leaders’ workshop aimed to articulate benchmarks for sustainable and responsible economic activity.
