'No bribes for healthy business' is the headline over Vazirani's story in The Global Corruption Report 2006, regarded as the bible of the anti-corruption movement, which this year focuses on Corruption and Health. Transasia Biomedicals is India's leading manufacturer of diagnostic equipment for blood diseases. The article states: 'What marks out Transasia is the dogged stance it takes against corruption.... Vazirani's interest in fighting corruption stems from his nine years as a volunteer with Moral Re-Armament (now Initiatives of Change), running industrial leadership training courses.... In September 2003, Vazirani was a keynote speaker at the launch in Mumbai of Transparency International's new Business Principles for Countering Bribery.' The 362-page Global Corruption Report is published jointly by TI and Pluto Press.
